With a blend of shoegaze and slender psychedelic leanings, this Cleveland quartet weaves a gentle dreamscape with waves of guitar drone. It makes a fitting bed for the angular leads and airy vocal — though it’s not without heavier parts. All these movements and shifts carry the listener through a tumbling and rolling sea of lyrics constructed from half-forgotten daydreams, like the Black Angels running down an old set list from Rainer Maria. Oh Boy, Boston!

We would like to say thanks to all the awesome bands we got to play with this weekend in Boston, including NIGHT FRUIT, who was kind enough to lend us some gear so we had a lighter load for the 11 hour drive, and 28 Degrees Taurus, who set up the Deep Heaven Now Fest and offered us a place to rest our heads after they were blasted with beautiful noise all night! We had a great time! We are happy to be back and working more on the record tonight!

This weekend is Fashion Week!

SAT. MAY 12: Nights takes the stage at 10 PM to begin the runway finale! It’s not too late to get a ticket! The NIGHTS boys in tuxedos are just one teeny tiny part of a huge, educational and entertaining party!

May kicks off with NIGHTS in BOSTON for the shoe-gaze fest DEEP HEAVEN NOW! Thanks to our buddies 28 Degrees Taurus for the invite to stay with them and play to their awesome city for Cinco de Mayo!

May 10 Jenna plays a solo acoustic set at Bela Dubby with the ‘psychedelic folk rockers’ of KALAMAZOO, Jeremy Ruggles & The Echo Chamber Family Band and Cleveland’s YELLOH.

May 12 is the big runway event for FASHION WEEK CLEVELAND! We are honored to be asked to open the show!

May 19 we join Leah Lou & the 2 left shoes for her CD REALEASE at the Grog Shop! Other performers for the night include THESE KNEES and BETWEEN STATE LINES! Donate a pair of shoes and get in for $4!

May 30 we join BETHESDA to open for PLANTS & ANIMALS at the BEACHLAND TAVERN!

NIGHTS plays Fashion Week Cleveland 2012!

This will be my third year attending Fashion Week Cleveland. It’s always entertaining and full of designers and artists and interesting people, and I look forward to entertaining this kind of audience. - Jenna
